Tori loves blue, even her car is a lovely shade of light blue. So naturally her wedding had to have lots and lots of lovely blue details in it. If you love blue and are planning a wedding in blue definitely scroll down to be inspired!
My favorite part was Tori’s 90 year old grandpa, aka Pops, showing up in the middle of formal photos with his camera to get a few shots himself. He turned to me and said he just might start doing wedding photography.
My Second favorite part was at the reception when he came out on the dance floor and danced with his grand daughter like he told me he would. I think those moments at weddings mean so much to me because all the people who come will never all be together again.
How about these custom cuff links? I’m not exactly sure what they are, maybe turbos or something. Someone who knows car p[arts please comment and set me straight here.
No matter the season Ramble Creek is just lovely for photos! We had intermittent clouds throughout the day and the most comfortable weather for an outdoor ceremony by the vineyard.
The Cake
Eva of Ramble creek cakes made yet another lovely cake and a million different delightful cupcakes in enough flavors to suit everyone’s style.
Tori’s grandpa “pops” held his own on the dance floor!
They left in Ethan’s beautiful Shelby Mustang.
Afterwards, we stepped out for a few bonus night photos at the arbor.
To show the blue draping on the arbor I put a double CTB gel on the light behind the couple. Camera settings for those who are curious: 1/60th, ISO- 2500, f/2.8, 24mm. Guessing about the power of my strobes, but likely the back one was at 1/8th power, the front one was camera right at around 1/32nd or 1/16th power. It was so dark I had a video light camera left just so I could see what I was doing and to aid in focusing.
