SURPRISE wEDDING

Surprise Wedding

This started as an engagement party with the story being that this was the last time you could see Cheryl and Steven before they eloped somewhere for a destination elopement.

Cheryl and Steven told me they didn’t want to decide who to invite and who not to invite to their wedding. So instead they invited everyone to their “engagement party”.

They threw tradition to the wind and made wedding planning their own!

We started with a first look and bride and groom portraits on a separate day so as to not be rushed or more importantly, blow their cover on the day of the “engagement party”. It was an absolutely wonderful way to do things!

Then fast forward to the “engagement party”. Guests arrived to Easy Bistro in cocktail attire and casually visited with friends. I worried I might say something, or just by being there might give something away.

You’ll want to scroll down to see the reactions from guests when Cheryl walked back in in her wedding dress and it turned into a surprise wedding ceremony!!
