Hockey themed Wedding
This hockey themed wedding was almost like Sarah was reading my mind. When we first met she told me all that she had planned! She showed me hockey themed pinterest pin after pin. The funny thing was, I too had pinned those same pins to a hockey wedding inspiration board!
I’ve always wanted to photograph a hockey themed wedding for a hockey couple. That day came!
Here are waaay too many of my favorites from the day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
The invitations were Nashville Predators themed tickets.
We started the day getting ready at The Westin Hotel
This was how the Doggie First look went down.
They were just a little bit excited to see mom.
The Ceremony
Not only was this a hockey themed wedding, it was also dog themed!
Riley wore a wooden flower wreath around his neck, and Dodger wore his smart looking vest and bow-tie harness.
The Reception
This was definitely a favorite wedding theme of all time! Look at this little Preds bobblehead style cake topper of Sarah and Jeff!!!
we ended the reception with bubbles and a hockey stick arch on the steps at the Church on Main.
The After Party
As we got to the bridge it started to rain, but that just added to the photos! I’m not going to lie, I was told I was a little too excited that it was raining.
How we got these night shots, for those who want to know: Two of what I call “the good video lights” courtesy of Axel. And one of my godox ocf behind them at 1/4th power with a clear plastic ziploc slid over the flash for the rain.
Special thanks to the creative team for making this day so wonderful.
