Forest Wedding Ceremony

Megan and Will held their wedding ceremony under the tall pines at Hiwassee River Weddings.

When they were deciding on a wedding venue, Will told Megan he wanted to get married at the Hiwassee River Weddings venue because it felt so fitting to them as a couple. The natural setting and beautiful scenery was the perfect backdrop. A few days after they met, they went down to a river and stood there talking and holding each other. He felt like he had known her for a thousand years before. So getting married at Hiwassee River Weddings was the perfect place.

Megan and Will, thank you for choosing me to document part your amazing love story. This is just the beginning! I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Hawaii and the rest of this great adventure called life together. I hope you love some of my favorite moments from your day!!! There were so many that I loved and it was hard to narrow it down!

The ring on Megan’s right index was her mom’s.

I asked Will what he was most looking forward to on the wedding day, he said: I am looking forward to everything! It’s a beautiful and perfect place for our wedding, so it will all be great. If I had to pick one thing, I think being able to say “This is my wife” will be my favorite.

Forest Ceremony

Their forest wedding ceremony was on the new updated paver stone patio under the bistro lights.

When I asked Megan what she was most looking forward to on her wedding day She said: Honestly, I’m just excited to see him. I know that my heart will be pounding all day long. I know that I will be unable to control my tears of joy. I am excited to start my life as Megan Hallie Bishop, and I am excited to have our wedding mark a whole new life of adventures.

Hannah from Impressions Catering did a beautiful job creating bouquets in “Shades of purple” like Megan had asked for.

We left the reception for a few bonus sunset photos by the river. The water was up at that time of night, and it was just beautiful!

They enjoyed making s’mores by the river as the sun went down.

Their Bubbles “send off” was done on the wooden steps on the river side of the venue. I’m a huge fan of bubbles. They’re great if you want something easy to clean up, pretty, great for night or daytime exits, and they photograph really well!

Many thanks to the creative team for making the day so wonderful
