When Cassidy and Tyler were looking for a wedding photographer they were looking for someone who could capture their classy and fun feel they wanted for their wedding.

Cassidy also had a strong esthetic style and it was important to find a photographer that could not only capture but enhance it and create a complete story in photos.

From Cassidy and Tyler:

What were you most looking forward to on your day?

It is impossible to pick one part of the day so I will give you my top 3! I was definitely looking most forward to getting ready with all of my best girl friends, the first look, and dancing the night away with my best friends. A full day surrounded by the people we love most!

What inspired your wedding decor? Did you have a theme in mind?

I didn’t really have a theme, but I knew I wanted something classic and timeless! The last thing I wanted was to look back on a collection of trends that I no longer liked. I stuck with neutral colors because they are not only my favorite, but I knew I would never regret it.

Why did you pick the venue that you chose?

Choosing our venue was the best part of our wedding planning journey! I had heard amazing things about Howe Farms so I went to tour two different venues (Highlands Chapel and The Loft). Our amazing tour guide, Miranda, knew that I wasn’t sold on either so she let me in on a little secret project called The Woodlands. I always wanted a destination wedding, but my fiance has a huge family and has lived in Chattanooga his entire life so I knew a destination wedding wasn’t ideal for him. The Woodlands was perfect because I felt like we were in Tuscany while being home with all of our friends and family. We signed papers when it was just a pile of dirt and it turned out to be the perfect wedding venue for us!

What is your favorite feature about your wedding venue?

For me, it was the mantle. I always wanted an indoor wedding venue and having the mantle made it so romantic! I had a vision for the mantle and our florist really brought it to life!

Tyler’s favorite part was of course the putting green outside of the groom’s suite. Not only did the guys have so much fun out there, but it also made for some really cool photos.

Is there any particular vendor that you were really excited to have for you

I am not kidding when I say, we were really excited about every vendor! We feel so grateful because it really felt like we were surrounded by the best of the best. If we had to pick, I would say we were most excited about Nelya’s photography because of how amazing our engagement pictures were and also Il Primo for the food catering.

Tell us about the food/flowers at your wedding.

The food was very special because Il Primo is where Tyler and I celebrate almost every special occassion (i.e. anniversaries, promotions, holidays, etc.) We have made so many memories while eating their food so it was an easy decision to book Il Primo to serve our guests.

The flowers turned out absolutely AMAZING! Stephanie of Lang Floral Designs was one of the first vendors we booked. Once I met with her, I knew she could see my vision for our big day! I always envisioned roses, but like myself I also wanted a touch of boho. Stephanie did such an amazing job keeping it classic with touches of my personal style.
