If you are considering having your wedding reception at Downtown 211 in Knoxville TN, This is a great rooftop venue to consider.

 

To get to the Downtown 211 Rooftop venue we entered through Uncorked on Market Square. I really love the lights and reflective ceiling in Uncorked.

The light coming in through the windows overlooking Market square is just perfect. I can’t wait for a bride to use this room for getting ready on her wedding day! Plus there’s a sky light shining down on that table too!

One thing to note about Downtown 211 is that it is located right in the heart of Market Square in Knoxville. Because of that, parking can be limited, especially on a Saturday night. Fortunately, there is a parking garage less than 2 blocks away, which provides plenty of parking for the guests and only a short walk to the reception venue.

The great thing about being in Market Square is that the atmosphere is great, and it also provides great backdrops for photos if you feel like getting out and being a little adventurous with your photographer.

There are bed rooms to stay overnight in for out of town guests or local to Knoxville and want to stay downtown.

The Rooftop at sunset has endless soft light. With a westerly facing view.

It’s perfect for a sunset wedding ceremony and or wedding reception. Or private party for a whole bunch of your closest friends.

Strung across the canopy are large “Christmas lights” and I especially like to capture the lights in the background of the first dance, wedding cakes, and yes, even a plate of Pakoras and Samosas.

Everyone loves to have a good time and get out on the dance floor under the lights.
